Sir, I have been interested in Motor Racing for many years, it was when my Father told me that the 1961 winning Ferrari was bright red, back in the day of black and white TV and printing, I was sold on Ferrari as my favourite. 1n 1967 I was a mechanic with Bob Gerard Cooper Racing in the 1967 F2 season, it was the engine size change for F1 and F2. Of course it was a wonderful experience because of all the famous names racing at that time in F2 and F1.

I will be 81 later this year, ever since going to the Australian GP at Albert Park I have been a Maserati fan my interest is in model making and I recently started my first scratch build of the Maserati 250F in 1:10 scale not exactly to the original design but what I can do with what I have available. I have completed the front end complete with suspension and steering and also the rear end, just fitted the pedals and am no going to make the steering wheel. I looked at some builds in this forum and found the quite interesting particularly the comments. Not sure if this will be posted or not as I was never able to receive the registration code. I am in Eltham North Victoria Victoria hope this will post regards to all beau

Welcome! I haven't been on this forum in quite some time, but I received an email notice that there were some new posts and I wanted to let you know your message was posted. 1:10 is BIG! Good luck with that. You have probably seen that his forum focuses on 1:32 scale open wheel race cars, and I hope that you will find some interesting threads.
Best regards,
Mark
