Its been a while since I posted about a build on the Forum but I haven't been idle. Have always liked the 1974 Ferrari 312 B3 and as I was at Brands Hatch for the GP that year and saw it in action I decided to model that particular car. It should have won the race but for a puncture and finished higher than fifth but for officials' incompetence in blocking Lauda from exiting the pits. I carved the body from tooling board as per usual and John Warren moulded and cast the master. Best wishes David

Yes! Didn´t the cars of these times look so much better than the actual formula racing cars?
Beside of all the other wonderful details the yellow brake vents give this car "that certain something"
What type of rims did you use in this car?
Best regards, Taffy

Thanks Taffy. Yes there is o much variety in the shape and configuration of the cars of the 1970's. Without paint and logos I suspect it would be very difficult to tell most of today's F1 cars apart.
The rear rims are Policar 13" F1 with tyres from John Warren and the front wheels are from CB Design with Slot.it tyres.
Best wishes
David

Thank you, David, for your reply! I didn´t know, that John is a tyre-maker, too....
Best regards, Taffy
