I totally agree with you Taffy I think the Vanwall was an inspiration to us all. A few month ago I had the chance to see the Vanwall, and that piece of engineering looks even more inpressive then it did on photo. Andi I think this model is engraved as an all time classic in our brains. I hope it will inspire even more people to pump up slot car toys to art.

Thanks folks. Its interesting how when I did this I really had very little past builds of this sort to use as reference. Now , just on this forum we have several builders who take it for granted this, more or less is the detail at which you HAVE to build.
I'm honoured and look forward to some future time when I have the time and energy to take on another of these mega-projects. Andi
