1937 - Nurburgring GP Winner - B Rosemeyer - Type C Auto Union George Turner kit with Peter's wonderful wheels. MY first GTM kit. I have several photographs of the actual car. However, it's difficult to determine if the colour of the wheel locking lugs. I'm going to go for black? BR. Brian

The weather has improved in the UK. So the type C was primed, polished and has had two coats of silver applied this afternoon. I am going to accentuate the vents and shut lines. Looks like on Rosemeyer's 1937 car the wheel wing nuts were silver. BR. Brian

Hi, Brian - excellent job. A newbie question: after priming, what did you use as a polish? Thanks!

Thanks Craig and Nigel. Craig I polish between coats and prior to clear coating with a very fine rubbing down compound from Halfords. Yellow 200ml tube. Made some progress with the Type C. Getting close. BR. Brian

Very nice work! Are the wheels some of Peter's classics? Also, very nice finish on the silver... I will have to try your method, as my silver always comes out a bit grainy looking.
