Trying to knock out some new 30s era heads in short order. Two male drivers, and one female. Will do a special for entrants here. Right now they are just a glimmer in the computer's eye, but will try and get them into production quickly, so you can avoid "Mr. Blobby"

Now we need a torso with a proper jacket and necktie as was often seen in those days.

Those heads would be great and give the cars a special note! Best regards Thomas

Torso would be a great idea. Not sure if I could get it out in time, though.

Excavation, Choices and Numbers
The sum total of my efforts so far have been "armchair building" - thinking and looking up specs. Today I ventured into the cave to see what was there.
Here is what I found:
Unbuilt Shells
MG R* Peter Seager Thomas
ERA B Pre Add
ERA B* Turner
Mercedes W125 John Bacon
Mercedes W125 Pre Add
Auto Union type D Fitspatrick
Mercedes W154 1938* Airfix? MRRC? appears to be ~1/2" too long (although the W154 was 16" longer than the W125
Kits:
Bugatti Type 59 Matchbox
Auto Union Type D Revell
Decorated Shells (cars that were completed then disassembled, some race wear - should be refurbished
Alfa 1937 312 Pre Add
Alfa 8 1936 Pre Add
Complete car
Auto Union Type D Revell body, scratch chassis AU Chassis Damage to body behind rear wheel LH side - can provide photo
Project
Scratch body for Mercedes W154/163 about half way done
Choices:
In the best case, I'd like to complete the W154/163 and do a shell for a W165 - the "pere et fils" combination amuses me. I find that things often take longer than I expect so I may end up with a W154 based on the plastic shell and look at an ERA or Alfa 159 for the voiturette class. That brings me to the numbers:
Numbers
The above list contains 13 cars to be built or refurbished and that is only the 30's collection. Adding 50's and 60's F1 and sports cars all waiting in line probably triples that number. Beyond preparing cars for our local races, my output is 2-3 cars/year. I am 82. Simple arithmetic drives the conclusion that, with exception of those marked with (*), all of the above are avalable to interested parties.

Hi Marc, any news on the driver's heads, and indeed the torsos.
Thanks, Peter.

Hi Marc, any news on the driver's heads, and indeed the torsos. Thanks, Peter. Heads are available now. Have not been able to generate a new figure torso, but there's always this one:

Since it will be hard to resist using Marc's excellent figures, I predict that the starting line will look like " The Race of the Clones"
