Sorry Graham, keep looking...
Thanks Chris, sorry about the location error. Your away time does not look like a problem. I cannot see things getting going before March 2019.
Regards John

From my side this proxy could take place also a little later in the Year. On the other hand it can help to finalize a car. Best regards Thomas

John, I have permission to offer to host a round at our track at NERCS in Washington, North East England. Would need to avoid dates between 8th March and 10th April 2019. www.nercs.co.ukGerry

Hi John, The boss has just informed me that I (we) will likely be away Jan. through March (dates still to be determined), and I have committed to run a round of a modern day F1 proxy in April, so, rather than bugger up the timing for the other hosts in your series, it is probably best if I give up my round.
Apologies, and if something changes in the near future I will let you know..........please by all means go ahead and try to fill my hosting spot.
A shame, as I was looking forward to seeing and running these cars.
Cheers Chris Walker

If I recall correctly, Chris, your's was the only track in the last VRAA on which my 250F ran well. I shall keep that in mind.

Chris, I hate to lose your involvement as a host so ask how would a later date suit, more mid year perhaps?

Chris, I hate to lose your involvement as a host so ask how would a later date suit, more mid year perhaps? Hi John, The boss has told me that we will be back in Canada by the end of March,....so,...I am good any time after that.....if that works into your schedule. Cheers Chris Walker PS I have entered some track info/pics. to the "hosts track info" thread.......if I have been "bumped" due to my tardy confirmation, please ignore.

Hello Gentlemen...I am trying to confirm track hosts detail for the upcoming events.
Could UK members please PM me or David Mitcham (probably more important) your contact details. Gerry? Graham? David?
I have contacts for Chris W and Max in the US.
This is to ease the transfer of cars after a round.
I appreciate your help.
John

My apologies for the delay in announcing the provisional schedule for the UK part of the ITP proxy series. As John has written I will be the recipient of the cars by 31 March 2019 and will scrutineer them on arrival. It would be really helpful if entrants would let me know when they have dispatched their cars; I will confirm safe arrival.
The provisional schedule is as follows:
• First round - Rockwell Park - First or Second weekend of April, organiser David Mitcham;
• Second Round – Manor Park - late April/early May, organiser Andi Rowland;
• Third Round – Tyneside Slot Car Club – late May/early June, organiser Dave Wisdom;
• Fourth Round - NERCS Washington - mid/late June, organiser Gerry Fitzsimmons.
Its possible there may be a fifth round but the venue has yet to confirm participation with John.
John is working out where the cars will be headed after the UK, most likely to North America.
Best Regards
David

An up-date on the rounds. There will now be a fifth UK round at the Isle of Man club; this will be in late June or July.
Best Regards
David

I am researching a possible second hosting track in central California. This is a replica of Monte Carlo, routed wood, 3-lane. I have not yet seen in person, but it could be a very nice fit to this group of cars. I will try to visit in the next 3 or 4 weeks, I will post some photos if I think it could work. The track owner is receptive. -Max

Everything sounds quite promising! Are all those tracks wooden raceways or what can be expected? Best regards Thomas
