I am working on a couple of kits at the moment (well 4 actually) and these two are close but it looks like I will need to wait until next year to finish them. The Mercedes W196 is a George Turner kit and the Maserati 250F Streamliner is a Penelope Pitlane kit from Pendleslot. Wheels a Mitoos Classic wires. More photos when they are completely finished. Mostly I need to fix up the running gear - axles wheels etc. Some engine detail on the Merc (you can see through the window) and some finer details... Happy New Year everyone cheers David

Hi David
They look very good. I particularly like the way you have painted the drivers - very realistic. Its easy to spoil the look of a car through poor depiction of the driver.
Your track looks very interesting too, it would be great if you could post some more pictures in the track section of the Forum.
